2023 Rep Tryout Information

When tryouts begin, they will be held at: Children's Arena 155 Arena St, Oshawa, ON L1J 4E8 

U9 - March 20th, 28th, & 29th 5:30-6:30pm

U11 - March 22nd & 29th 6:30-7:30pm

U13 - March 7th, 8th and 21st 5-6pm

U15 - March 7th 6-7:30pm and March 22nd 5:30-6:30pm

U17 - March 21st 6-7:30pm, March 28th 6:30-7:30pm and March 30th 7-8pm 

IMPORTANT:    

All players must be registered with OMLA 24 hours prior to the first tryout in order to be on the floor for Tryouts REGISTER HERE

Try out fees are included with your REP Registration.

All players must attend 1st Team Tryouts to be Eligible for Team # 2

VERY IMPORTANT!

MR2.08(a)

A player resident in a community represented by a rep club entered in a category for which he is eligible to play, must register with that club except where such player’s services are waived by that club subject to the provisions of MR3.11. 

NOTE: Any player who has not registered with their resident association by the following dates will be ineligible for a rep release. If a club folds a team for which the player would have been eligible, the player will not be eligible for a release under MR2.08(b).

Box: 3rd Sunday in March
Field: March 1st
Women’s Field: 3rd Sunday in March
Fall Field: August 15th
 

MR2.08(b) 

A player who is eligible but resident in a municipality with no minor team in any group for which he/she is eligible, shall sign with the club which is the next closest centre. The distance shall be measured from the player’s residence to the two or more municipalities concerned, by the shortest route (excluding toll roads) and by mileage shown on the search engine dictated for OLA registrations for the current playing season. Such player must return to his resident municipality the next year of play; at which time, should the club have no team for which he/she is eligible, the player returns to the association with which he/she was previously signed and is considered unconditionally released.
