There are lots of interesting things to do this weekend in Oshawa, here are a few of the attractions that should interest both players and parents.

Merchants Lacrosse! - the Merchants take on rival Oakville Rock in Ontario Series Lacrosse at Delpark, 8 PM Saturday

Theodore Tugboat docking at the Oshawa Port July 9 and 10, weather permitting - Theodore TOO, a 65-foot life-sized reproduction of the CBC television character "Theodore Tugboat" is returning to the Oshawa Port for a two day visit. Theodore will arrive at the Oshawa Port dock in the evening on July 8 and depart Oshawa on July 11.

Canadian Auto Museum - The Canadian Automotive Museum collects and displays the history of the automobile in Canada.

Lakeview Park - Oshawa's waterfront gem on Lake Ontario, Nice, clean beach, great walking trail along the waterfront, huge trees and picnic tables, playground and splash pad.

Parkwood National Historic Site - An Autobaron's home of innovation and inspiration, and one of Canada's last grand estates. Immerse yourself in the era and lavish lifestyle of R. S. McLaughlin - founder of GM Canada.  Many films and TV shows were/are shot here.

The Ontario Regiment RCAC Museum - Tank Saturday - July 9th - The Ontario Regiment RCAC Museum has a Historic collection of over 80 operational military vehicles including jeeps, trucks, carriers and tanks.

Robert McLaughlin Gallery - The RMG is a vibrant, engaging public art museum located in Oshawa's civic centre between City Hall and the McLaughlin Public Library. The largest gallery in Durham Region.

Oshawa Museum - For over 60 years, the Oshawa Museum (OM) has celebrated our City’s history with engaging events, inspiring exhibits, and an immense collection of archival materials.

NEB's Fun World - (North End Bowl) - bowling and heck of a lot more!

Oshawa Zoo and Fun Farm - Oshawa Zoo and Fun Farm opened its gates July 29th, 1993. Our goal was to have a clean, green, interactive mix of friendly exotic and domestic animals.
