City League is back!

City League is what we call our house league, but it means a bit more than simply 'house league.'  Teams in City League play for the City of Oshawa Box Lacrosse Championships in June.  City League is the primary development stage for Oshawa lacrosse where the emphasis is on learning lacrosse skills, making friends, and having fun - this is all structured under the Lacrosse for Life program from the Canadian Lacrosse Association.  City League is also about Oshawa kids playing lacrosse in their own hometown.  See the City League page for more information.

While we rebuild City League this year, we have several options depending on registration numbers, and this will include 4-on-4 and 5-on-5 game format.  Where numbers warrant, we will play City League divisions only.  If we do not have enough numbers for full City League, but do have enough for two teams in an age division, the teams will play a 'City Series' as well as participate in Interlock with Clarington and Northumberland.  If there are only enough for one team, that team will play Interlock.

Our preference is to build our City League into a competitive and fun league to provide a healthy and rewarding experience for all players, so tell your friends about us.  We're back and we're here to stay!

City League will need coaches and volunteers, so if you are interested and available we would love to have you on our team!
